[Chris Johnston] "This could change right up until Friday night on the draft floor, but I'm told the Sens are still planning to make a pick at No. 4. Would mean their first-rounder next year is transferred to Colorado to complete the Duchene deal."
[Dreger] I think the interest in Ryan O'Reilly from around the NHL is considerable. I'm not sure what that list looks like, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were about 5 teams interested.
[Habs] For those wondering, we thought it would helpful to clarify that when a player is traded, his info is automatically imported to our site by central registry (including # and POS), which is why Domi was listed as No. 16, C at first. He is now listed as No. 13, LW.
Bettman on #Sens drama: “There have been lots of headstones placed on franchises over the years, but none of the burials ever took place. This is a moment in time, more sensational than anything else.”

Note on the 1st-round pick OTT is due to send COL in Duchene trade: It has to be the #sens own, either this year (No. 4) or next year (TBD), under the terms of the deal. Which means it can't be another one OTT might acquire.
Dale Tallon on prospect Adam Mascherin, who will re-enter the draft after not signing with Florida: "What happened to him? He didn't want to play for the Panthers, that's what happened. We offered him a favourable contract and he refused it."
Pierre Dorion: "Today's trade showcases our determination to strengthen the future of the team by improving chemistry, leadership and character in the locker room and on the ice. We are confident it is a step in the right direction for the long-term success of this organization."
