Zuckerberg was asked in the inquiry panel which hotel he had slept in the previous and guess what- he went silent for about a minute or two before finally shaking his head and saying that he couldn't release such personal details. The panel then asked him- why then did he release customer data so easily. Its basically the same question I would like to ask Mr. Zuckerberg too
Zuckerberg always has second thoughts. Every second he's getting money, he has thoughts about who to share customer data with.
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 85%. (I'm a bot)
SAN FRANCISCO - Facebook Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg questioned the business case for giving millions of outside software developers wide access to customer data before endorsing the practice in 2012, according to internal emails published on Wednesday.
Facebook had "Maximized profit" from games integrating with Facebook by charging them a fee, Zuckerberg said.
If Facebook made it easy for more apps to integrate social features, Zuckerberg wrote months later, "We should be able to unlock more sharing in the world and on Facebook."
lmao “despite second thoughts”. The real news here is that Zuckerberg has any shred of morality left, not that he’s still selling our data. What an assclown.
