We're approaching levels of cyberpunk previously believed to be un-obtainable!
I approve. This solves the whole issue of an anchor aging, leaving, being forced out, etc.
It will be weird the first time there is a crisis and a robot is feigning being "sad" or maybe is set to show zero emotion, but I'd enjoy seeing this tried out on an alternate news channel.

From a technical point of view, interesting, but also why not just have a news anchor?
What is the main reason for not doing that?

It seems like it would be cheaper to hire one human to read than have a group of animators? Maybe not if you count the crew behind the camera.
