Here is some important information about this post:
I have a question -- what made you decide to use a non parametric test? I can see the largest 100 metro, the distributions def look skewed, especially with the outliers. It's harder for me to see on the non 100. Is it more obvious with a histogram?
EDIT: I think the outline shows its not normally distributed. I have never added an outline to a box and whisker plot before.

Beginner question--I want to make a boxplot of some data (a group of plants were either inoculated or not, and their date of flowering was recorded in the spreadsheet in the format of mm/dd). I've searched online, but I'm having difficulty progressing.
