I've seen their weakness. This is why everyday I practice kicking. Sometimes its a log, kettle, or a small child. When I finally work my way up to dogs and I think i'll be ready for the singularity.
Anyone want to place bets on how long before we see Atlas in American Ninja Warrior, or Ultimate Beastmaster?
I'm kind of curious about the battery life on one of those. I'm thinking maybe 20 minutes? Maybe an hour? That will be an important factor in how viable they are right now (not considering future developments).
Imagine that coming after you. When/if this technology is weaponized it's going to be terrifying.
Holy fuck now that's impressive, we're getting far from Honda robot
Just think of all the currently existing AI tech that this thing could have, but has not been integrated with yet - driving cars, beating any human at Alpha Go, detecting cancer better than doctors. etc.
Then think its taken the whole of human history to get to this point in 2018, but its doubling in power every 18-24 months & in 10 years, it will be about 50 times more powerful than this - then shortly after 100 times, then 200 times......
Just a matter of time. This is the progress they show us. I wonder how far they’ve come behind the veil
This totally looks like a Stalker from Titanfall. We should be very afraid... unless we have giant self-aware mechs to get into.
That this thing is doing all this and it's no longer on a tether is mind-boggling. Also scary.
Oh crap, now that thing doesn't need to be plugged in to run around.
So much for my clever plan.
