Oh damn, thats not a bad idea
This ain’t no DiWHY, this is just great DIY!
I may use this idea. That's actually really smart. Thank you :D
Genius! If only I didn't have brick walls
I just bought and put up a shelf.....
Looks more solid than mine. A dual screw hook setup can be finicky...
That's actually really clever. How far up do you have the camera mounted?
Thanks for sharing this idea. I've been trying to think of a way to set up my camera higher and this is a great idea!
I used these.
Looks good! It’s difficult to tell from the images; is the camera mount simply hooked over the bull clip? It doesn’t go through or clip onto the camera mount? I’m away on holiday just now so have nothing for visual reference.
I’ve had mine on top of the PSVR box. This looks way better.
Great idea thx To you bro
And don't forget the power of 3M Command Strips. They hold up anything and come off without any wall damage.
Ahhh great idea and thanks! I lost my camera holder during a move and taping it to things just isn't working so well
3M Command Strips?!?
I like it. That's probably stay up better than the duct tape I'm using...
Jesus. Fucking Macgyver over here. Great idea!
Haha that's legit
Great idea. But I wouldn't be betting on those tacks holding out forever. Maybe some small screws and anchors.
Genius. This happening.
this is a genius idea! I'm doing this tonight. the area I have for vr isn't really big enough and I have my camera mounted to a tripod but this will give me the extra few feet I need. thank you!
This is one of those “it’s not stupid if it works” engineering ideas. Nice work op.
Just get some putty. No holes in your wall and it doesn't look cheap (no offense)
Just did this now, thank you
Fuck you that's clever. Im stealing this image to share. Gimmie a name you want me to post with it for credit if you would like pls :)
I have mine mounted from a drop ceiling with a paperclip and a straw, really MacGyvering it. Works really well.
I like it. I just used push pins.
legen - wait for it - dary!!!!!!
Hi looks amazing dood :) , I have mine on top of tv because I’m sat on my bed , makes it a little finicky, awesome and simple.. and original. Is it possible to show some more photos because I can’t actually see how you’ve achieved the setup, once again brilliant simple ideas always best Thankyou Groot man 👍🏻🇬🇧
I've been doing the same thing with a thin piece of electrical tape instead of a cow-clip.
It's up on the wall for 6 months without a problem. Works great!
Awww thank you man , really appreciate it, I’ve got it now, yea it was the clips I was having a hard time with lol:) , it’s up and working now , a quick trip to the hardware store and sorted, anyway thanks again, it’s given me more room and it’s working perfectly, cheers Groot man 👍✅
It looks much better than the dude who literally duck taped his to the wall a while back
That's actually pretty smart I got to admit
