Pretty soon they'll just have the actor show up to record the voice lines and then use a cheaper actor to pantomime the scenes and then plug the faces on there and dub it. They already do it for a few of the scenes (The Mummy with Tom Cruise LUL). Especially if it's a role where an actor/actress has to get really fit for. Needing to help the actor bulk up for 3 months with a team of physical therapists really raises the cost of the actor and the budge of the movie. Soon they might not have to do that anymore.
And I'm just thinking small. With an advanced version of Adobe's Project VoCo the actor would just sign off on using their "assets" for films and then they don't even have to show up for production.
This sounds like fun... until you think of all the other things people are going to do with this tech.
Fake video to make someone look or sound like they're doing/saying things they never did or said. Fake porn to turn mainstream Hollywood/Bollywood actresses into simulated porn stars.
tldr; Some people are going to do fun things with this and some will make problems with it.
Nic Cage is left wondering "where the HECK are my residuals?"
This sounds worse than the machine that turns everything into paperclips.
Since light stops penetrating water at 1000 meters deep and the deepest freshwater lake is 1642 meters deep(both according to Google), is there an equivalent to deep sea creatures for freshwater?
