I mean... it's either that, or considering no human can translate it, the story could well be "AI now so advanced, it convincingly bullshits translation of 15th century manuscript" ...which is basically the essence of the Turing test anyway right? :P
It's working on it. It has some done, but It's not completely deciphered.
Did anybody else win a $1,000 gift card from YouTube by opening this link.
The manuscript is not "decyphered", despite the headline, and the role of AI in what was done is not clear from the text. Here's a more convincing and contemporary study which says the exact opposite. More likely still is that the Voynich was a fake, made to sell to C19th antiquarians. The text is then simple gibberish.
Didn't we already translate this last year? Some Medical Professional who knew Latin said it was a Medical Knowlages written in shorthand if I recall
No human could translate? Pretty sure a while back people were posting about what it contained.
Yea but that romans has that anti-pregnancy plant they farmed to extinction. We have pills now but who knows maybe the plant is healthier than whatever chemicals we’re putting in our bodies. That’s the kind of thing I’m talking about.
Omg! I’m not gonna lie. I hope it’s a bunch of recipes for medicines that can cure stuff we still haven’t figured out. I want something awesome or weird (like cult related) to be uncoded.
Thus, the world's oldest LARP will finally be decoded.
